Aberfoyle Holiday Cottages are two adjoining semi-detached cottages situated in an idyllic and peaceful location in the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park on the outskirts of Aberfoyle. The Cottages overlook Ben Lomond to the north and open fields and forestry to the south. Lomond View and Benview cottages are situated within walking distance to Aberfoyle village and with large private and secure gardens, they are ideal for children and pets. Both cottages are dog friendly and dogs stay for free!
About The Cottages
The Cottages are appointed with all the facilities you would expect for a 4 star cottage and comfortably sleep 4 persons in each cottage. Off road private parking is directly adjacent to the cottages. All electricity, gas and logs for Benview Cottage, towels and linen are included in the weekly charge. (No hidden charges!) Both cottages now have Superfast Fibre Broadband. The holiday cottages are in The Trossachs, a perfect location for walking and cycling with 500 kilometres of tracks and paths, quite literally, on your doorstep. There is something for everybody and your four legged friends from gentle strolls in the woods to serious hill climbing and munro bagging, and for cyclists, safe easy family friendly routes to extreme single track for the more serious mountain biker. Carron Valley mountain bike centre is also a short drive away.
We have a wide selection of maps, information on walks, cycle routes etc for you to read through to help plan your excursions for your holiday. Fishing, horse-riding, golfing, hill walking, Go-Ape, Lake of Menteith Fisheries and water sports are all available nearby. There is so much to do in the surrounding area you may wonder how you are going to fit it all in! You may have to return! Alternatively, take some time to simply relax in our secluded south facing gardens and look out for our visiting wildlife.

The village of Aberfoyle is just a short 10 min stroll away down a well lit, quiet road where you will find a supermarket (open from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week), a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to supply you with all the food, entertainment and refreshments you will need for your stay. It is also an excellent base for touring with many tourist attractions and main cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow all within an hours drive. There are also regular bus links from the village and excellent local taxi services. Most of the main online supermarkets all deliver to Aberfoyle. Order before you leave home and have it delivered after your arrival! Whatever the weather, whatever the season we offer you the opportunity to relax in warm and comfortable accommodation in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland!

Use the map to get directions to The Cottages. You will be able to print directions or enter the map co-ordiantes of 56.16984, -4.39094 or enter our postcode of FK8 3XG into your GPS system to find us. On entering the village of Aberfoyle continue along the Main Street and then cross the River Forth to the left over the old bridge, continue 400 metres and take the next right. We are 200 metres on the left.

Looking for Bed and Breakfast?
We also have Corrieglen Bed and Breakfast just a short walk from Aberfoyle Cottages which is set in an lovely position overlooking open fields and the Village of Aberfoyle. We have three bedrooms all with private bathrooms and we are open from March until October. You can check out the B&B on the Corrieglen Website.
